Wordpress guru needed asap

We need someone intimately familiar with Wordpress to help us move our site -- a law firm site with an integrated blog -- to a new domain. For reasons that aren't entirely clear to us, our current developer fears he'll break the site if he tries making the change.
We also have other Wordpress-related issues that we might want you to address, but the domain issue is high priority.
