Could I pay you to compose intro music for my podcast?
September 15, 2022 5:23 AM

I am finishing work on my first podcast and I need intro music. I know that services exist online where I can source music for this sort of thing but I, for many reasons, would rather commission someone to make it for me outright.

Frankly, I've been overthinking the music for this thing and it's getting in the way of my moving forward and finishing with the project. I'm hoping working one-on-one with someone will compel me to actually finish it, rather than just get intimidated by the options available from online libraries and then putting everything off. I'm sure many of you can relate to this situation. Even writing out this question is alleviating my anxiety significantly.

I promise you I am easy to work with and I know exactly the sound/vibe I am looking for; minimal overall with no lyrics/singing, and under a minute long. I can provide examples of what I want, as well. The podcast is literary in nature.

I will, of course, pay you money for your work and credit you in both the individual episodes of the podcast and in any adjacent media (website for the podcast, etc.) I am also happy to provide references so you know I won't be wasting your time.

I also should add this is a semi-time sensitive question. The sooner I can work this out the better.

(Mods, my apologies if this isn't the correct category to post under. I thought of posting this in Projects but that is for finished projects only, correct?)

Thank you very much.
