Help build a WordPress website for our tiny charity
January 30, 2021 8:02 AM

My family started a charity where we partner with a local YMCA to offer swim lessons to foster kids. The program is at one site so far but we've helped 30+ kids and have dreams of growing it across the country.

I bought a hosting plan and a domain and thought I'd make the site myself (I used to write stuff in HTML in younger days), but after an hour of poking around it's way over my head.

I have no need for anything fancy. Just a pretty, clean site that gets across the basics: who we are, what we do, where our programs are located, how to get in touch. Maybe someday a "donate" button but we are not even a 501(c)(3) yet. I'm happy to use your favorite template and some stock photos to start.

My goal is to get something nice up there and hopefully be able to make minor changes myself as we go (but if recent experience is a guide that's...unlikely).

Do you know WordPress? Can you help? Let's talk. I can pay hourly or all-in.
