Freelance Information Architect and GUI Designer

I am looking for either one individual to cover both responsibilities or two individuals to do each separate job.
The position will be freelance for approximately 4 to 5 months with probably a total of 2 to 3 hours of meeting time every other week plus whatever you need to accomplish tasks. Hourly rate we can negotiate. Also, you'll need to be available to travel to Arizona first week in August for one day. Reimbursed by us, of course.
Project involves re-designing the interface, navigation and reporting tools for a sales management application that is both web-based and served to a browser from the desktop. This is a data-based application that is highly information intensive and I therefore need someone who has experience in application IA/GUI rather than simply web design.
Anticipate a rather un-structured requirements development environment - we are not great at process. Fortunately you will be working off an existing application and a set of preliminary documents developed by an IA that left the project to move overseas.
Company is an established, global publishing enterprise that has existed for a long time. Project team is in the higher ed division.
payscale: hourly rate negotiable
