Art Librarian/Visual Resources Curator
April 19, 2012 9:21 PM

Official description:
Direct and administer all Visual Resource Library Student Tech Fee related hardware/software projects and Visual Resources Library (VRL) operations and services including acquisitions, original cataloging, digital reproduction, preservation, conservation, reference services, collection development, and staff management. Develop and execute Special Projects to benefit the Visual Resources Library, Department of Art, and/or the Gardiner Art Gallery.

In other words:
We need someone with traditional art librarian skills and visual resource management skills to run our Visual Resources Library. We're a studio-heavy Art Department and so the VRL includes tools for large-scale printing, graphic design, video, and visual art software, and other technologies with which familiarity (or fast learning) would be required.
