WordPress theme developer

I have a small business client with an existing web site done in plain html (uses tables for formatting rather than css). They want it put into WordPress so that they can modify the words and images themselves.
I do not have the time or existing WordPress expertise to do this for them in their required timeframe, so I am looking for outside help. I am not sure whether it requires someone to create a custom theme, or whether an existing WordPress theme could be modified.
The client will be using hostmonster, which has PHP, MySQL, and an easy WordPress installer.
The site has 10 pages, all except the home page are in the same format. They are also using left side navigation, which seems to be rare in WordPress.
If you are a WordPress guru and are available to complete this work within a week, let me know your price, show me some work samples/resume, and tell me what you would need from me to get started. There is also possible future work from me if this project goes well.
All work can be done telecommute. There is no need for an in-person meeting with either I or the business client, so there is no need to be in the Seattle area.
