Marketing Writer

The Logitech Writing and Naming team is looking for a bright, enthusiastic marketing writer.

Our ideal candidate:
- Can write clearly and concisely – building a brand without getting in the way of the content and has the strong portfolio to prove it
- Is comfortable writing packaging, web pages, user documentation, and more. A writing generalist who is excited about the products more than a clever headline – but can still write a clever headline
- Brings a strategic, business-smart eye to every project. We need a thinker who uses words as a tool
- Appreciates being a part of a team, a collaborative partner with a wide variety of team members (win-win and all that)
- Likes, loves, gets excited by cool technology and the digital world
- Has some experience with product naming/nomenclature strategy, or at least isn’t afraid of working with lawyers

Bonus points for:
- Experience with UI writing, content management, localization, user documentation, PR, direct marketing, online retailers or any of the other areas in which our diverse team participates
- Knowledge of the consumer electronics space, B2B marketing

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in professional writing, most in marketing-related functions
- Can use Microsoft Office and wiki editing with ease; can stomach Lotus Notes
- A strong portfolio
- Can work on-site in Fremont, CA

I'm the actual hiring manager, so please give me in my work email a compelling cover letter that sells you, a decent resume and a link and/or PDF of at least 6 writing samples you are truly proud of.

I'm looking for someone who is smart, will add value, won't drive me or my team crazy and can hit the ground running.
