User Interface Designer Needed at Leading Domain Registrar

The Position: User Interface (UI) Designer
At we want to put a greater emphasis on the usability of our tools and services. By focusing on the user, we believe the rest will fall into place. We're looking for a UI Designer to help drive the design process for new products and features. As a UI Designer, you will work closely with our development team and company leadership throughout all stages of the product cycle. If you're a critical thinker with a good design sense, a strong technical background, and an eye for making things better we want to talk to you. This is a full-time salaried position.

The Responsibilities:
• Helping to define and create the user interface for new and existing products and features.
• Developing high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Evaluating the usability of new and existing products, and making informed and constructive suggestions for change.

The Requirements:
• Solid academic background in human-computer interaction or related field (BS or MS in Computer Science or related field a big plus.
• Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces.
• Understanding of the MVC architecture and experience developing user interfaces in Symfony, Ruby on Rails or similar platform.
• Expert HTML & CSS skills.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript.
• Strong, clean visual design sense.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
