Quick transcript cleanup. Mostly removing lines

I have 5 text files that have timecode junk.
I was hoping someone could quickly just remove some of the dead text.
Example:
00:00:25.580 --> 00:00:37.559
for 30 years over looking for a lot
longer than that every young chefs dream
00:00:37.559 --> 00:00:43.410
to open a restaurant one day and i
actually moved out here I've been living
I just need the timecode removed. Yes, if you're capable with a command line text tool, you can plow through these in less than 1 minute.
Five files. One is "long" in that it has 270 replacements. The other 4 are all under 50.
Or you can do it by hand.
