big company seeks "intra-preneur" in Delhi
January 23, 2014 7:49 AM
I work for a large, industry-leading company in B2B chemical/mechanical equipment, with presence in 60+ countries. The company is launching a spin-off in Delhi for B2-small-B sales and distribution. We're looking for someone to be an "intra-preneur" on the ground. This is the IDEAL opportunity for someone who sees themselves as entrepreneurial, but isn't quite ready to take the leap solo, whether it is for cultural expectations, concerns about funding a start-up, or whatever.
The post requires a readiness to interact with people from different walks of life and to communicate across cultures in India and with our team based in Paris, so naturally I thought of CSers!
Big company is looking for people through some more conventional recruitment methods, but since we're looking for a kind of unconventional person, we're also looking at *less* conventional recruitment e.g. through networks like CS. I'm not active in Delhi CS and have not yet been to India, but I am active in Paris and wherever I travel.
Excuse me for not publicly announcing exactly which company and which field but this is a very competitive industry and the project is still hush-hush. I'll be happy to talk about it further if you send me an e-mail, ideally with a URL for linkedin or a CV.
