The Web Designer is part of a team responsible for creating, manipulating, managing and posting technologies of the client. This position is located at a federal government contractor in Virginia.

Position Responsibilities:

• Designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.


• Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.


• Contributes to the design group's efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization's online offerings to include Executive Level Dashboards and knowledge portals


• Designs the website to support the organization’s strategies and goals relative to external communications.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.


• Minimum 2 years work experience in Web design


• Knowledge of the following web software development technologies;
  HTML, JAVA, and AJAX.


• Knowledge of DRUPAL, JOOMLA and WORDPRESS and SharePoint desired.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Excellent customer interfacing
