A Tokyo-based graphic arts firm is seeking a copywriter to write English language advertisements and marketing collateral for overseas use. Experienced writers preferred; translators and technical writers welcome.

This is a great opportunity if you are studying Japanese and want some real Japanese business experience. You'll get to practice speaking, listening, and reading Japanese in a relaxed environment, while doing your actual work in English. You'll also get to go on-site and meet with clients, who include some of the most famous names in electronics manufacturing.

Bonus for tech lovers, you get to play with pre-release products!!

• Must currently reside in Japan. (Firm on this one. Sorry, overseas folks!)
• Native English speaker or have close to "perfect" English speaking ability.
• Conversational Japanese ability.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, including PowerPoint.

• Full-time from sometime around August.
• 3-month introductory period, followed by 'seishain' status (permanent, not a yearly contract).
• Visa sponsorship is available.
• Application deadline is 7/4/2008.

I'm not the final decision maker, but I will be selecting the candidates. Feel free to ask me any questions!
