Exam Proctor
March 21, 2007 10:39 AM

We need someone to administer final exams to University of Maryland, University College students on Minot AFB. Exams occur 5 times a year. For each session, this person would set up 3-4 times during scheduled exam week (next exam week is May 4-10, 2007) and would contact students to set up times for them to test. Proctor would then administer test and send exams directly to faculty using pre-paid envelopes.

Each exam session is 3 hours in length. We will pay you 4 hours for each session to allow for administrative time as well as 2 hours for arranging test times with students. Pay is $12.75/hour and you would be employed by UMUC as a contractor. There are no benefits with this position.

To qualify, you must be a college graduate, not a current undergraduate student at UMUC, and be able to test during the day, evenings, and perhaps weekends (ideally, we would offer testing sessions at all those times). You must have transportation to the base; we will arrange for access to the base on testing days.

If interested, please complete a UMUC employment application (available here: http://www.umuc.edu/personnel/emp_app.pdf) and send it and a cover letter expressing your interest in the position to proctors@umuc.edu. For more information about testing at UMUC, visit our Web site: www.umuc.edu/testing.
