As a result, businesses are relying more and more on outside advisors to help them understand where important documents are located, how they can be retrieved and if they can be used as evidence in court.
Kroll Ontrack is the UK’s largest electronic disclosure, computer forensics, data recovery and courtroom services provider working with the largest law firms, FTSE and government organisations. We employ skilled lawyers, consultants, investigators and project managers to counsel our clients on identifying key electronic and paper documents that could be critical pieces of evidence.
We are currently looking for an Electronic Evidence Consultant (EEC) to assist the business development, project management, computer forensics and data management teams understand our clients’ technology requirements. This EEC will play a critical role in analysing, scoping and pricing business opportunities prior to an engagement. Once engaged by a client, the EEC will be integral in providing technical guidance to the various teams to ensure a full understanding of the technical challenges and opportunities.
The EEC plays a critical role in coordinating with legal consultants on evaluating business opportunities, proposal writing, business presentation and overall technical consultation before, during and after a client engagement. An ideal candidate would have the following:
• Advanced IT, infrastructure, data management and software experience
• Preferred experience working with law firms and/or in-house legal professionals
• Persuasive writing and presentation skills
• Strong time management, multi-tasking and organisational skills
• High ability to work on confidential, sensitive and time constraining matters
• Strong analytical, mathematical and reasoning skills
• Two-year degree in related IT, business or equivalent experience
