Mid-sized software company seeks Junior Sysadmin (at least 1 year of production experience including both Unix and Windows).
Full-time, onsite work in downtown Manhattan. Competitive Salary, excellent benefits package. Rapidly expanding company.
Healthy, friendly culture. You'd be supporting a small team of Senior Sysadmins.
Skills and Requirements:
• Windows System Administration, installing and configuring desktops, test servers, unattended installs.
• Linux System Administration, installing and configuring Linux workstations
• Production experience with NFS and Samba, preferably across Wide Area Networks.
• Production experience with LDAP and Samba Domain authentication.
• Development experience with Perl and Shell.
Responsibilities:
• Install and prepare new machines for users
• Respond to daily user issues, Antivirus, machine boot problems etc.
• Install and configure Linux and Unix servers and workstations for the development and test labs.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation.
