Cuddle my cat for a week-10 days (end of June/early July)

I'm trying to make plans for a trip I can't take my cat on. I'll be gone for max 10 days, end of June or early July - I haven't booked anything yet, so this can be flexible. I'm looking for someone who could stay in my house and would be around for most of the day. The cat in question is affectionate to the point of really needing someone to hang out with, play with, and sit/sleep on. He's partly raw-fed, but if you're squicked out by that we can work around that for the duration. He's an indoor/outdoor sort of person.
My house is an older, charmless rental in a sleepy town with nothing to do. It's about an hour north of NYC, accessible with difficulty by public transport (but not really suitable for day trips). Amenities are limited - I've got a very small apartment washing machine, coffeemaking supplies, an air conditioner in one room only, a porch that's quite nice to sit on, and wifi. Other than that, you'll need to bring your own entertainment. On the off chance of that being a novel/dissertation that you're trying to finish, be warned that the cat really likes to help with the typing, although there are workarounds.
