Edit audio recording of my father's funeral service

I have an audio recording (in WAV format) of my father's funeral service. It is about 1 hour and 12 minutes long. There are a number of different speakers as well as a couple of musical performances. The only issue is that there are some long pauses between speakers. I would like those pauses shortened.
I am not sure what a fair wage would be for such editing services, but I would be happy to discuss further.
