Wordpress plugin developer

I need to have a plugin written for Wordpress (I have a feeling I could cobble something together myself, given enough time).
The plugin would support registration by invite code. More specifically, it would allow people to register without an invite code, but would promote new registrants to a certain role automatically if they register with a certain invite code (ideally would allow for multiple code/role pairs).
Also should support Buddypress, as I plan on using some of BP's features for my project.
I am comfortable editing the parameters directly in the PHP, so an admin interface is not a priority
I know there are one or two invite-code plugins already in existence, but none seem to handle promotion to role based on code. If you want to fork an existing project, that's fine with me.
