Small Lazy Dog Seeks Temporary Christmas Home
November 15, 2012 10:12 AM

Our small lazy dog needs a place to stay in Chicago between 12/19 and 12/28, and we'd rather place him with someone who will enjoy his company rather than boarding him. Circumstances out of our control will preclude us from bringing him with on our Christmas travels this year.

Name: Milo
Age: ~4 (rescue)
Breed: Rat Terrier
Weight: 9 lbs

He is crate trained and need not be supervised all day, and he does not like walks. To that end, boarding this dude is easy-peasy; he just needs to go out for a potty break 2x/day, morning and evening, and he's set. Not a barker.

On the whole, you can expect him to sit on your lap or next to you whenever possible, get very excited about food (yours and his), and sleep in his crate at night. He's great with kids, and has attended doggy daycare before so gets along with other dogs. No idea how he is with cats but we suspect he'd not be interested. We have references from others who have borrowed/boarded him who will attest to his temperament and cuteness.

We will supply all of his necessities: crate, blankets, bed, toys, leash, harness, bags, food, dish.
