Office Coordinator

MOMENT, a young and growing interaction design firm (working on websites, software applications, and mobile device interfaces) is looking for an Office Coordinator. We’re a small group working with huge clients and we need someone to join our ranks and help with operations.
Our studio is a casual, fun and interesting environment located in a great part of SoHo. This is a full-time staff position with a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and tremendous learning opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can work independently and work hard
- Is professional, intelligent, articulate and polished
- Is unquestionably dependable; someone who will become our “go-to“ person
- Has diligent attention to detail
- Is interested in what we do
- Has working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
We need basic administrative support, including:
- Triage of incoming calls, checking the mail, greeting guests and signing for packages
- Ordering and stocking office supplies
- Making occasional travel arrangements
- General vendor management; i.e. manage our outsourced cleaning service, couriers, making Poland Spring and Fresh Direct orders
Other responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating annual celebrations, both small and large
- Administering the company healthcare benefits
- Office –wide time tracking & reporting
- Coordinating outgoing invoices
- Scheduling meetings & interviews
- Editing and proofreading proposals and design documents
Pluses:
- Strong design sensibility
- Excellent taste in music
- Some basic knowledge of Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop)
We’re absolutely NOT looking for a lackey to pick-up our dry cleaning; get coffee or pick up lunch… We need the exercise.
