Java Mentor (Virtual) - Coding, Architecture
December 18, 2020 11:56 AM

I would like to hire a mentor whose brain I can pick for about an hour, once or twice a week. I am an intermediate Java developer at a large corporate (quasi-gov't) organization who wants to level up her skills and architecture knowledge. I only have a diploma and have never had a good work mentor.

I will ask you things like:

- My colleague coded something like this - what are the pluses/minuses
of doing it that way
- How do you recognize really good architecture
- What design pattern is being used here
- What is the technical term I should use to describe X?
- What could I read to learn more about X?

Looking for someone who is:
1) A senior level Java dev (current or former)
2) Understands Enterprise App Architecture
3) Likes having their brain picked and answering lots of questions

Thanks!
