The Job:
We're looking for senior data scientists with skills in statistical techniques and machine learning. Ideally, we want people who are seriously competent, who can manage themselves, who can take an idea or a project and run with it- geniuses are great, but definitely must be willing to just go heads-down and get stuff done.
Our application processes a large amount of data daily. Experience with fast and scalable/distributed systems is a must, as well as experience with NoSQL unstructured datasets. The work will involve building custom classifiers and predictive models, clustering and searching for patterns in the data.
Skills:
Statistical modeling and machine learning, data mining
Experience with statistics libraries like Open R
Machine learning frameworks like Weka or Mahout
Server-side scripting languages such as Python
SQL
