Assembly and Manufacturing Manager

The Assembly and Manufacturing Manager ensures accurate, timely and efficient production of all product lines in Assembly and Manufacturing. This includes production timing, resource allocation, component inventory management, and personnel management. The Assembly and Manufacturing Manager is responsible for process and product improvement. The Manager suggests new products to the Product Development Team as well as prototypes all ideas coming from that team. This position reports to the VP of Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule production work for department
Ensure high quality in each line of production
Maintain sufficient inventory and personnel for timely production
Develop and implement plans for seasonal activity
Participate on Product Development Team, and prototype all new ideas
Other duties as needed
Requirements:
Professional, detail-oriented, prompt, efficient, patient
Can thrive and manage personnel in a metrics driven environment
Can track and process tasks across concurrently open projects
Familiarity with Windows operating system and Google Docs
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite products. Expertise preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in physical product production.
At least 1 year of line management experience. 2 years preferred.
