Web writer and general geek with institutional social networking experience

I've worked doing social networking (Facebook/Twitter) for the largest University in my home state as well as doing web writing and assisting in migrating content from a Dreamweaver/Contribute system to an open source CMS for municipal government. I'm really good at explaining the things like Twitter to management types that aren't really used to the internet. I know what buzzwords like "SEO" mean and how to tell when the people using them are scammers or legit. I can turn science-ese, corporate-ese and government-ese into readable text for the web. I also make great tea.
