Director of Analytics / Senior Analytics Manager

We are looking for a kick-ass analytics manager to take on strategic initiatives in data consolidation, data warehousing & analytics for a well-funded social media company.
Responsibilities
• Drive the collection and reporting of key performance data, including revenue and margin, to support strategic and daily decision making. Responsible for managing data collection and validation between sales, operations, network, and finance teams.
• Lead the driving of core insights from the data to suggest, create and execute multivariate or a/b/c tests that drive fundamental improvements to the business.
• Lead RFPs and vendor selection for new software necessary to deliver strategy.
• Lead internal initiatives to support business process redesign, gathering requirements from stakeholders, defining system integration priorities, scopes and requirements. Responsible for launching efficient, scalable business systems and ERP solutions, including SFA, order management, AR, AP, and GL on time, and within budget.
• Provide hands-on guidance and (when required) personally perform deep-dives using analytical tools on very large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets.
• Ensure rigorous quality control over data, analyses and metrics, and organizational clarity and alignment for key business metrics.
• Manage multiple analytical projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment.
• Lead the team in use of standard BI tools, such as Business Objects or Cognos, to produce reports with clear, actionable and justifiable recommendations.
• Lead the team in creating holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to Senior Management.
• Hire and mentor a small team.
Qualifications
• Thorough understanding of online advertising and web metrics
• Deep knowledge of ad serving platforms such as DoubleClick/DART, Atlas, Eyeblaster, etc.
• Able to interact with senior management and clients, take corporate strategic initiatives and present actionable findings
• 8+ years experience in statistical analysis, segmentation, predictive modeling, consulting, and forecasting
• Experience with SAS, SPSS or comparable statistical modeling tool
• Knowledge of Orackle and SQL
• Knowledge of database design, applications, and data flows a plus
• Graduate degree in Statistics, Math, Operations Research or related field
