Tech Coordinator for Prison Education Program
November 25, 2020 11:58 AM
Hi all!
I've been dormant here for a long time, but I am right now in the process of trying to hire a Tech Coordinator for the prison education program I run, and it occurs to me that a bunch of you would likely be an awesome fit. This is a position designed to end next June and so it could be done from anywhere because of COVID, but there's the opportunity to extend it at which point it would VERY MUCH require you to relocate.
Please let me know if you apply, but the actual application is here.
Job Description:
Georgetown University’s Prisons and Justice Initiative was founded in 2016 in order to respond to the dual crisis of incarceration and recidivism. It brings together leading scholars, practitioners, and students to tackle the problem of mass incarceration—one of the most crucial moral and political issues of our time. Through public events, research seminars, and programs at local prisons/jails and for returning citizens in the Washington DC area, PJI works to better understand the causes and consequences of the mass incarceration crisis and to contribute to bipartisan solutions for effective reform.

The incumbent will establish and maintain a good working relationship and maintain communication with PJI students and affiliates.
