Japanese Translator
April 30, 2015 2:08 PM

I'm an editor for an imprint at a major publisher, and I need more J-E translation talent than I currently have. We do both manga and novels, and it's the latter category for which I'm most interested in finding translators.

Our projects are frequently many volumes long, representing months and even years of steady work for a reliable translator. You can work from basically anywhere in the world; this is freelance work-for-hire.

JLPT N1 is useful but not an absolute necessity; an instinct for prose that makes for readable fiction prose is at least as important.
