Carpentry -- build a safe, strong treehouse in my backyard

My kids want a treehouse, but my husband and I lack the time and expertise to build it. We are both reasonably handy -- we removed old kitchen cabinets and installed new ones at our old house. So we could help, but neither one of us want to be the brains of the operation.
I am envisioning something like this. I live in a place with a homeowners association, and their guidelines are here.
Quote me a price -- I know it will depend on the time you think it would take to build it. We have most tools, or can borrow from neighbors. With winter coming on, the actual construction would probably be in the spring.
