About Us
Maple Forest is a growing Paid Search agency based in London near Victoria station. Practically on top of it, in fact. We manage Google AdWords and other Pay per Click campaigns for a variety of service and ecommerce clients in the UK and Ireland.
What we're after
We’re are looking to recruit a well spoken, professional candidate to join our new sales team.
I'll be honest. You'll be our first permanent employee. So, attendant adventure and risk and reward calculations to be done before contacting, obviously.
Starting as a Junior Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for sourcing/recording leads, making plenty of outbound calls to potential clients, introducing Maple Forest and our very unique (and very compelling) Pay-on-Results PPC offer to them and booking meetings for our Business Development Director to meet with these prospective clients. Not a job for introverts, if I'm honest.
You will be targeted on conducting at least 20 conversations every day and booking 5 to 10 prospective client meetings every week.
This role offers plenty of progression, as you will start to attend meetings with the Business Development Director in order to progress to the stage where you will be closing sales on these meetings yourself. It is expected that you will remain in this Junior Sales role for 6-9 months, and will then progress into a more senior client-facing sales role after that period.
Experience in making high volume outbound calls in a business-to-business setting is preferred, as this will display your ability to connect with prospects over the phone. If you know anything about paid search and web marketing or have experience selling in a SEM agency this will be a major advantage.
The main qualities needed to succeed in this role are an articulate telephone manner, an interest in the web and search marketing, serious organisation, and the motivation to build a career.
