Do you know a high school or college student that still needs a summer job?
We're a nice little office in Oakland that's flexible with hours, paying a real hourly looking for a bright, motivated student to do research and learn about brand positioning. This could continue into a few hours a week in the fall for the right student.

Job Description
What we need:
ACE is looking for an intern to gather and synthesize information on the way other organizations – for profit and nonprofit – are engaging audiences online and offline to give a sense of where we stand and room for improvement – with our brand and our ways of reaching audiences and getting them to act.
At least 50% of your time will be devoted to looking at the websites and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest) of other organizations, using Google to find case studies and media coverage of those organizations, thinking creatively to find other best practices and summarizing your findings in a fast, approachable way.
Less than 25% of your time will involve day-to-day operational tasks that need doing, such as uploading data into our Salesforce.com to help us analyze how effectively we’re activating our student and donor audiences.
Required Qualifications:
• Comfort with social media, Google Search and Microsoft Office
• Some level of career interest in the nonprofit, social justice or environmental space
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working with or volunteering for a nonprofit organization
• Coursework (high school or college level) in marketing or psychology
Schedule: Part-time position
Salary: $9/hour, between 25-30 hours a week through the end of summer (hours are flexible)
Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
