We're looking for a software engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area to work in the Yahoo data mining group. Our team works on large scalable data mining systems. You should know perl, unix, and C++ and the usual CS stuff: algorithms, data structures, systems. We highly prefer you to have at least a couple years of experience and a computer science degree from a good school.
Our projects have a big impact and we have a lot of fun here. We are located on the main campus in Sunnyvale, CA.
Approximate salary is posted below (I don't like "depends on experience") based on what I see new hires are getting here but don't hold me to it since it's not set by me.
