The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) seeks aPublications Coordinator for its York, Maine headquarters. The IAPP is the world's largest association for professionals in the field of privacy and currently represents over 3000 members in 23 countries around the world. The association offers these members a variety of professional development services from educational programs and networking forums to annual conferences, industry resources and professional certifications in information privacy. The Publications Coordinator will have primary responsibility for posting content for all of the IAPP's electronic publishing efforts, including updates to the Web site as well as building content into e-newsletters on a daily and monthly basis. The position requires strong technical capabilities, knowledge of desktop publishing, proficiency with Windows office suite and html. College degree required. Background in journalism or communications and knowledge of AP style preferred for this entry-level publications position. Familiarity with information privacy issues desirable.
