System Administrator (Linux / CUDA)

Cutting-edge forensic video identification service, looking for a Linux sysadmin. We are a funded high-tech startup with a unique technology and mission. Job oversees high-throughput big-RAM servers, CUDA hardware, large-scale backups and infrastructure design.
We are a rising high-tech startup company, located in Iceland. We are looking for people to support our video identification service, Videntifier Forensic. We offer challenging and interesting jobs as part of a very strong team.
The System Administrator takes responsibility for:
- Software service deployment on a Linux cluster
- Deployment infrastructure management
- Organisation and implementation of high-volume backups
- Setup, monitoring, and support of a range of hardware
- Giving input on the selection and purchase of new hardware
- Execution of automated testing
- Oversight over remote administration of deployed machines
Qualifications
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- Significant administration Linux experience
- Good knowledge of commodity hardware
- Programming skills
- Flexibility, independence and discipline
- Experience with CUDA hardware and large servers a plus
Videntifier Technologies has recently secured funding from the Icelandic New Venture Fund to take on the numerous opportunities available to the company. We are operating in the international market.
