Network Administrator

The Network Administrator oversees all aspects of our internal and external networks and is the primary contact for end user workstation support and training. This includes routers, switches, desktops and servers for 150 users.

This position is responsible for maintaining system integrity, maintenance, security and backups. This role requires occasional travel between 6 geographically separated sites in the state. This role will provide support to all staff on company supported hardware and software applications. The position will work closely with the MIS Director to diagnose and resolve issues, and with the CFO to plan and implement the Agency Technology Plan.


The successful candidate for this position will possess certain key technical skills:



* Hands-on experience with a multi server Windows 2003 Server environment.
* Hands-on experience with a multi-site network.
* Experience with help desk functions to triage end user issues and provide training and assistance when needed.
* Intermediate knowledge of routing and switching concepts including management and monitoring.
* Adept ability to learn and communicate.

Additional skills in the following will be beneficial:

* SQL Server 2005, Crystal Reports, Data Analytics.
* Terminal Server, Citrix, Thin Clients
* Voice Over IP Phone Systems
* VMWare Server ESX/ESXi
