Teacher at Art School

I'm helping out a friend with this one, so while I will be happy to help as well as I'm able to for some things I'll just have to redirect you to her.

Teachers are needed at an art school called A Door Ajar School of the Arts in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Anything that can be seen as an art (from painting to poetry to Photoshop) is a possibility.

Teacher of English as a Foreign Language in Mexico

Full time teaching position at a reputable and growing school in Queretaro, Mexico.

Located two and a half hours from Mexico City, Queretaro is a prosperous town that continues to grow, while retaining its historic center which is preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This company is looking for native English speakers from all countries to work full time teaching classes both in companies and at the school. Class size is small, ranging from one to ten. Transportation to and from companies is always provided. Contact hours range from 20 to 30 and, while you will be working full time, it should never feel overwhelming. The school is equipped with a full resource library and internet.

Certification (such as ITTO, Celta, Trinity, SIT Tesol, etc) is highly preferred, though not an absolute requirement. Experience is a bonus and will help you win a higher salary, but it is not at all required. If you don't have a certificate, though, you should have some experience.

This is not a job offer that I will have the final say on, but I have been invited to help in the search for my replacement. I am very satisfied with this company and would recommend it to a friend. If you are interested, please contact me either via email or mefimail and we can chat about what you are looking for and whether or not this is a good fit. If you think it is, I will be more than happy to present your CV to the directors with a personal recommendation.

SAT Prep teacher

Seeking someone to take my place, after 4.5 years here.

This is one of the best jobs in Seoul, teaching highly motivated and competent students, most of whom either attend US Boarding schools (and return for vacations) or Korean Foreign Language schools.

Past students have been admitted to Cal Tech, Cornell, Stanford, Northwestern's HPME, and other top schools, and several students have topped 2300 on the new 2400-point SAT.

Single, modern, air-conditioned housing is included in the contract, and salary is about $2000 - $2500 depending on experience, etc. Housing is in Hong-dae area, the hippest, most desirable neighborhood - and one I'm bummed to leave.

Applicants must be able to score 750 or above on an SAT Critical Reading section, and must have a thorough understanding of SAT Writing-style grammar and essay conventions. Math skills are a plus, but not a necessity.

All curriculum is provided, and is very thorough and self-explanatory, and administrative staff is English-speaking, competent, and supportive.

We're seeking a 1-year contract, but would offer a shorter, summer-only contract to the right person.

Contact me with questions or c.v. any time via email.
