	<title>Engineers (system, electrical, software)</title>
	<link>http://jobs.metafilter.com/mefi/438</link>
<description>Northrop Grumman is a leading defense contractor. The Rolling Meadows site produces RF Combat &amp;amp; Information Systems (including ASPIS, ALQ-162, Falcon Edge, AN/ALQ-155 upgrade), Electro-optical and Infrared countermeasures (EO/IR) (including AN/AAQ-24, AN/AAR-54) EO/IR targeting and Surveillance (including AN/AAQ-28 Litening and Night Hunter II) and land forces equipment (including the AN/TPQ-36 Firefinder and G/ATOR).

&lt;a href=&quot;http://horizonscareers.northgrum.com/HorizonsWeb/getCareerHome.do&quot;&gt;Careers.northgrum.com&lt;/a&gt; has all of the job listings for the entire Northrop Grumman corporation, and has a decent search to limit the results to your field, or the location where you&apos;d prefer to work.

Currently the site I work at in Rolling Meadows, IL is looking to hire a wide range of people. We need Program Managers, Systems Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Embedded Software Engineers and Multi-Disciplined Engineers all within a wide range of experience and pay grades.

Most of these jobs are available in RF Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM). Specifics on any of the available openings can be found at the above site. All of these jobs require the applicant to be able to obtain a secret clearance once hired. This means only U.S. citizens are eligible for these positions.

I&apos;m an EE at the company and just passing this info along. I&apos;d be happy to talk as much as I can about what job positions would entail, but applications have to go through HR. Also, full disclosure -- I may be eligible for a bonus if I recommend experience engineers. </description>
