The site will support a software product that I have recently developed. The site will be hosted on a SharePoint server which means the xhtml and site layout will need to be implemented as an <a href="http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms443795.aspx">Asp.NET MasterPage</a> and a <a href="http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa979310.aspx">WSS Theme</a>.
