Responsibilities include: • Media pitching to various print, television, radio and online media outlets. • Writing. • Research industry news and trends. • Develop media lists. • Track client coverage through media scanning of hard-copy newspapers and online searches. • Create paste-ups of coverage. • General administrative support as needed. Required Experience and Skill Set • General knowledge of what Public Relations entails. • Strong drive to work in Public Relations. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Dynamic, creative thinker. • Team player attitude. • Ability to organize and prioritize work. • College degree in communications, journalism or related field is highly preferred. • Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred.
