I'm looking for assistance completing a GUI interface in a Symfony project. You would be working on an existing code base. Multiple boxes are laid out using CSS driven from database values for height, width, X-position and Y-position, all of which are percentages of the parent box container. You would implement: * Save functionality: Users can interactively drag and drop boxes. Clicking a Save button should calculate new values for X and Y positions of all boxes, then update their associated database entries. * Resize functionality: Create corner resize handles on boxes to allow users to interactively modify box height and width. Clicking a Save button would calculate new height and width values, then save them to the database. Work would be entirely online, you would save your changes to an SVN branch. You should be familiar with the Symfony framework.

Each store page would contain relevant information like location, shipping details etc. Each store would also list the products they sell. Be it "ProductA", "productB" Each product will also have a page so "ProductA" would outline the product then lists all the stores this product is available at. So going to a stores page would list all the products it sells and going to a products page would list all the stores said product is available at. Looking for a price on a PHP development: a web-based song library manager/catalog. Database should contain song titles, and information about each one (artist, album it appears on, trivia, one or more custom fields). Separate (linked) table for artists, to allow artist-specific trivia. Songs must be able to be assigned to user-defined categories (each song will appear in only one category). User must be able to add songs one-at-a-time through an intuitive web interface, or batch upload through a tab-delimited file. User must also be able to easily move songs from one category to another - perhaps drag-and-drop/Ajax? Perhaps lists with check boxes and "Move To ___" buttons? I'm open - I just want it to be extremely intuitive, so that virtually no documentation is necessary. Administrative area needs to be password-protected (through a web form, not a simple htaccess lock). There also needs to be a public-facing display that allows users to browse the contents of the catalog without being able to make changes. Previous industry experience in Digital Media, Web Development/Design, or Interactive Media is ideal. Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree. The Senior Developer/Project Manager will be responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, managing the entire project life cycle, design, documentation, scheduling, and resource allocation. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. DUTIES: * Participates in a team of (initially) four to six programmers * Programs in PHP/MYSQL and some PERL to maintain existing systems such as CMS, Ad Server, Statistics reporting/logging systems, and client reporting tools. * Responds to new feature requests maintaining key systems in accordance with long-range software development roadmaps under strict revision control * Assists with maintenance of several large networks of GNU/Linux-based application, database, and development servers based on open-source software * Updates job knowledge by keeping abreast of industry developments, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks * Documents software and systems REQUIRED SKILLS: * PHP * Expertise in configuration and maintenance of MySQL * Perl * Expertise in configuration and maintenance of Apache web server * Significant Experience managing teams of developers. * Experience managing offsite development teams. * HTML/CSS (hand-coding in dynamic web programming applications only!) * XML * Experience with other scripting and programming languages (Bash, Python, C, etc.) a plus! * Proficiency in *NIX command line and with common *NIX tools * Usage of Subversion/CVS in a complex development environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Superior time management skills * Software development cycle fundamentals * Object-oriented design (OOD) experience * Software debugging
