We're looking for a good senior level php/mysql developer and project manager to help us build a high quality, extensible, and scalable codebase. Qualified candidates will have at least 3-4 years of industry experience managing web and interactive media development projects. Nabbr.biz is looking for a UI expert with strong HTML, CSS and Javascript skills. You'll be building both large- and small-scale web applications. Design skills are a plus, but we're more concerned with your programming skill than your abilities as a designer. We want someone located in the NYC area. We work as a tightly integrated team, so we'll need you onsite. We have a great team comprised of business people, Flash developers and back-end scripters. To round off our staff, we need someone who excels at browser scripting. Nabbr is a "Social Promotion" company. Errand run in NYC

I need someone to visit the Fritz Hansen showroom at 22 Wooster Street in NYC and purchase some small parts for some chairs (they'd fit in your coat pocket--I need 15 of them and I think they're about $1 to $1.50 each). Then, I need them shipped to me in Toronto. For a month I've been trying to get a store in Toronto (called Plan B, who is an official distributor) to bring them in for me but they keep making excuses about the delay after promising me a 3 day turnaround. I've called the showroom direct and keep getting a machine--they don't call me back. It's driving me a bit bonkers as I can't have anyone over for dinner till I get the parts (the chairs aren't sturdy). I'm not even sure the store will sell as it's officially just a showroom, but I am told that that's where Plan B has been placing its order. So, if you're close to that address and can pop in between 9 and 5 M-F and try and get them for me, I'd pay you for your time. I have no idea how much to pay for such a job because I don't know if you can just walk in and buy them or if you have to sweet talk and cajole them into selling to you--but am completely open to hearing a suggestion in email and can paypal the agreed upon price (and shipping/part cost, or course) in US$.

At the very least, we're looking for someone who knows DOM scripting and CSS layout really well, and also knows at least one templating language (we use jsp/jstl, but php, asp, cold fusion, struts, etc is also fine). Ideally, we'd like to hire someone who also knows a thing or two about information architecture, advanced JavaScript/AJAX, visual design, or some other front-end discipline.
