Teacher of English as a Foreign Language in Mexico

Full time teaching position at a reputable and growing school in Queretaro, Mexico.

Located two and a half hours from Mexico City, Queretaro is a prosperous town that continues to grow, while retaining its historic center which is preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This company is looking for native English speakers from all countries to work full time teaching classes both in companies and at the school. Class size is small, ranging from one to ten. Transportation to and from companies is always provided. Contact hours range from 20 to 30 and, while you will be working full time, it should never feel overwhelming. The school is equipped with a full resource library and internet.

Certification (such as ITTO, Celta, Trinity, SIT Tesol, etc) is highly preferred, though not an absolute requirement. Experience is a bonus and will help you win a higher salary, but it is not at all required. If you don't have a certificate, though, you should have some experience.

This is not a job offer that I will have the final say on, but I have been invited to help in the search for my replacement. I am very satisfied with this company and would recommend it to a friend. If you are interested, please contact me either via email or mefimail and we can chat about what you are looking for and whether or not this is a good fit. If you think it is, I will be more than happy to present your CV to the directors with a personal recommendation.

Errand-run for someone in Mexico or Chile...

This is an odd one but here goes:

I'm looking for one of these phones: Motorola Motofone F3 that operates on the GSM 850 / 1900 frequency. They are apparently available in Mexico or Chile for us$30 or so. I'm hoping someone in either of these locations can pick me up a couple of these and send them to me in Canada. I'll of course reimburse you the cost and shipping and throw in an extra us$25. I figure it's about 30 - 60 minutes work depending on how readily available the phones are.

I'll be sending the money via Paypal in US$.

If you're interested, please send me an email specificying:

1) Which country you're in.
2) If you're already aware of a place that sells the phones (and if you know how much they retail for).
3) When you can run the errand.

I'll pick someone from the responses based on those answers.

Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions.
