Sr. Online Product Development Lead or Product Manager

I recently started working for the World Wrestling Entertainment (yes, the world famous WWE, a company that I had known very little about until I started interviewing with them a couple of months ago. Turns out it is a marketing monster with an astonishingly professional while exceptionally friendly business culture. Certainly a great place to work and only a short train commute (45 min) from Grand Central Station in New York.

I am Vice President of Product Development here, and have started down the path of putting together a first-rate time. For right now, I am looking for one or two first-rate on-line Product Managers. People with experience managing all types of interactive projects, whether design, infrastructure, e-commerce, ad supported media, etc. Agency or internal experience is good, but I have a particular interest in people who have managed full product lifecycle for one or more high profile consumer brands.

Front End Web Developer

So, you're religious about standards, speak fluently in the tongues of CSS and XHTML and have declared jihad against IE several times in your last few years of professional web development.

You're festidious about detail, have an eye for design, are a dab hand with Photoshop, care about usability, accessibility, semantics, information architecture and, importantly, making things that work well using best practices.

Moreover, you enjoy doing all of this stuff, and would like to do it on big boy web sites, for clients like Coca-Cola, Orange and eBay.

Also, you're not just gonna turn up, stare at your screen all day, then disappear at 5:30pm. You're personable, sociable, interesting, interested, fun, funny, keen and sane. Well, mostly sane.

Whack me your CV, portfolio URL or disk (a must, since we're obviously gonna wanna need to see some code…), and tell me about yourself, what got you this far, and where you wanna go next.

Web App Advisor

I know, I know, you've heard it a million times. But this one is for real.

A friend and I have been working on a web app idea that has real potential. We've hammered out some business plans (they're solid), scoped out the competition (it's lame) and even started tossing around some names (that's fun).

But, you guessed it, we don't actually have the damn site.

Problem is, we don't really know enough about what we need to find the programmer we need.

My guess, based on some research, is that we need some sort of Ruby on Rails-like guru (need not be RoR per se) to tell us what we need, and how much it will cost to build a 'prototype' and then a full version.

If we like you, we'll even give you the job. But for now, we just want to pay you to give us the straight dope.

Please be in New York City . We're looking for someone local so we can all sit together, speak openly, and generally gain the nuances and subtleties of human interaction.

Also, please send me links to your work - particularly web-app type projects you've managed. The more, the merrier.

Finally, please include a reasonable fee for an hour or so of chatting at a Starbucks and honestly and fairly 'downloading' your knowledge to us.
