Graphic redesign of existing Drupal site (NYC)

A Columbia University department is seeking a NYC-based graphic designer to do a visual makeover on a relatively simply Drupal website (and possibly more than one if it works out well). Must be a US citizen and eligible for employment. We would prefer to work with a local freelancer in New York. You don't need to have a huge portfolio, but some experience designing themes in Drupal or another major CMS is necessary. Ability to travel uptown for in-person meetings is helpful. Looking for someone who can build a CMS-site for us. We want to build an easy to manage CMS website, with a blog, newsletter opt-in, some restriced areas (where visitors would have to give us an e-mail address before being able to download some information), RSS-feeds for the blog part, that sort of thing. The lay out and design end will be handled by third parties, as well as a style sheet to base the website on, but we are looking for a tech person to execute these designs/style sheets rapidly and to spec into a functional website, while complying with current SEO techniques and accepted industry standards. In the tag area, I mentioned Drupal and Joomla, but only because these terms are thrown around a lot by the people I contact. Other CMS-solutions would be fine, if you can explain us why. We have little or no in house technical knowledge, so be prepared to explain thoroughly! Interested techies must be ready to show: - portfolio - references - optimistic, can do personality - familiarity with SEO best practices - excellent communication skills, as most of the communication will be by e-mail or by Skype (unless you happen to live in Brussels, Belgium). I'm looking for someone competent with drupal to make some cosmetic (not functional) mods to a website. It is an old web site which I recently had converted to drupal. The developer is a friend. He stays covered up. For a variety of reasons, he is unwilling to work for me for pay, but at the same time, has bigger clients that demand all of his available time. Rather than pester him to death, I thought I'd investigate finding someone to complete what he started. He migrated my klunky HTML mess to drupal, with an integral blog. The site works just fine, but requires cosmetic mods. I have two .pdf documents which I will provide that show the desired end product and a stock photo that these are based upon. PHP Developer for Drupal Module

I am currently seeking a PHP Developer who has experience with Drupal, who would be able to create a new module and make it work with existing modules from Drupal. I would like a module creating that lists stores and products. These stores can be online or retails outlets. Each store page would contain relevant information like location, shipping details etc. Each store would also list the products they sell. Be it "ProductA", "productB" Each product will also have a page so "ProductA" would outline the product then lists all the stores this product is available at. So going to a stores page would list all the products it sells and going to a products page would list all the stores said product is available at. I do not intent to actual sell the products myself just list the locations they products are available at.
