Logo Designer For A Fictional 90s Kids Show

For a project I'm working on, I need a logo created for a 90s live action kids show that never existed but totally could have. If, as soon as you read that last sentence, you saw glow effects, lightning bolts, and blocky 3D, then you could be the person I'm looking for. Obviously experience in creating logos for afterschool TV isn't required, but I need a designer who's experienced enough to take four or five real logos and (ahem) morph them into something new. Basically, I'm looking for a good designer to make me a crummy design. Though this is a personal project unrelated to my job, I'm a creative director at an ad agency, so you don't have to worry about me jerking you around or trying to get you to do this for the "exposure". If I like your portfolio, we'll talk about details then you can send me an estimate. I'll pay half upfront and half upon completion. The deliverable will be an Illustrator or Photoshop file of the logo in vector format. This is probably a one-time job, though I could need additional assets down the line.

Graphic designer for young adult alternate reality game

We're looking for a graphics designer to create up to six different websites for an alternate reality game based around a highly popular young adult book. This job will involve working with our team in London on creating concepts and then finished PSDs for our in-house web designer to implement - this means that you will not be doing any HTML work, although we will expect you to have a very good grasp of the web and interaction design. The websites should look lushly designed illustrated. We are not looking for web 2.0 or corporate designs; instead, imagine that you have to create a Victorian rail timetable leaflet, but online. You will need to show us a portfolio of sites you have designed in this theme, otherwise unfortunately we're not interested. This is a relatively short project, which will need to begin almost immediately. You will need to have good communication skills and be fast and prompt. It's a very fun project though, with a good client! You can be based anywhere in the world, but things will be easier if we can talk to you on the phone, which (depending on where you live) could involve occasional late nights or early mornings.

My company, Nabbr.com, is looking for an full-time, onsite designer. We already have two MeFite's working here. Let's make it a third! Our company is thriving, full of talented people, and never boring. If you join our team, each project you work on will be wildly different from the last one. You'll be working on our web site, developing unique graphics for our clients, and making images for our sales team to use in presentations. Most of our work involves promoting trendy products (bands, movies, video games, etc.) to young people, so you have to have a hip, cutting edge design style -- not a super-corporate one. You won't be locked into this (we want someone creative), but you should feel comfortable with the whole "web 2.0, rounded corner" thing.
