HTML and CSS for simple web site

Looking for someone to do a one-off job of coding a simple web site. The site is already designed and has a very basic structure (header, footer, horizontal nav, some columns for content). I imagine that for someone who's on their game that this is at most 2 hours work and probably much quicker by frankensteining past jobs (trust me, it's very basic). Final product must be cross-platform/browser compatible & standards-compliant. Those interested, send me an email and I'll fire you a graphic. Symfony GUI Developer

I'm looking for assistance completing a GUI interface in a Symfony project. You would be working on an existing code base. Multiple boxes are laid out using CSS driven from database values for height, width, X-position and Y-position, all of which are percentages of the parent box container. You would implement: * Save functionality: Users can interactively drag and drop boxes. Clicking a Save button should calculate new values for X and Y positions of all boxes, then update their associated database entries. * Resize functionality: Create corner resize handles on boxes to allow users to interactively modify box height and width. Clicking a Save button would calculate new height and width values, then save them to the database. Work would be entirely online, you would save your changes to an SVN branch. You should be familiar with the Symfony framework.

I currently have more work than I can manage to push out the door on schedule on my own, and am looking for someone to skin templates based on my designs. Which, happily, tend to be pretty straight forward. If you have a good working knowlege of CSS standards and are familiar with WordPress themes, none of this will be complicated. Very few of these are even require themes from scratch; layouts are often based on existing themes already in place. Convert design into WordPress theme

I need somebody who can convert a single web page design into a working WordPress 2.3.x theme. The design will be delivered in a sliced Photoshop file. You need to be prepared to create as much of the look in well-formed XHTML and CSS as possible. No tables, no frames, and no more graphics or Flash than are necessary. You need to understand columns, boxes, styled text, tight code, cross-browser issues, and consistency. You will use dummy text where the WordPress-specific tags will go and someone else will replace them with working code later, but the styling information must already be in place. In order to apply, you must have an online portfolio. Do not apply if you cannot adhere absolutely to the deadlines. The work begins November 8th and must be complete by November 16th, with no leeway whatsoever. All revisions must also happen before November 16th. This is for a non-profit startup: there is a small, inflexible budget for this: $500, including two rounds of revisions.

I am looking for precisely the same type of person, but I'm paying. We are a well loved, self-funded hobbyist site where members submit and critique arrangements of video game music. I've spent the past three years watching volunteer after volunteer get caught up in school, crushed with day jobs, or simply unmotivated. We're almost a year late on our projected re-launch date, and the natives are restless. I'm willing to hire someone to help get the site launched this year to break the flake-out cycle. You'd be a hero to several thousand nerds. We're close, but we still need Javascript magic and an experienced hand on the markup (alongside the ongoing backend development). We have a complete visual design / theme, so we just need help writing Django templates and spicing them up with Javascript interactivity. The site will allow for custom theming so if you'd like to design your own, zen-garden style, we'd welcome it and I'd do something nice for you! I could do this stuff myself. However, I work a full time job, and I'm also not spectacular with making things pretty, graphically. I've put some time into developing the idea, but spent $0 because I have a mortgage to pay. I'm looking for someone else willing to dedicate some time to something that might just take off and be something amazing. What I need: A whiz-bang AJAX developer capable of making really great UI functionality that works in both IE and Mozilla. Safari would be great too. If you've seen things like iGoogle's drag and droppable components, NetVibes, etc, you know what I'm after. What the project is: See my MeFi profile for a glimpse. There's way more ideas behind it than just what's there, but that'll give you a general idea. In a nutshell, I want to give people the ability to tie all of their different internet presences into one place.
