Web 2.0 Designer/Developer - Contract

Xeriton Corporation is one of the fastest growing software companies in the Pacific Northwest. Profitable for ten years straight, we have an immediate opening for an on-site Web Designer/Developer to lead the design and (front-end) implementation of an exciting new social networking property (think Digg, but on steroids). Your responsibility would be to design/refine the visual look and layout of the site with an eye towards functionality and ease of use. Your work will be in HTML, Javascript, and the various graphics tools of your choice. Knowledge of ASP.NET is a definite bonus: you don't need to code in C# of course, but understanding how to integrate with the codebehind is helpful. This position will be contract based with a possible option to convert to fulltime. We have a fun, bright, and collaborative work environment, free beverages, massage chairs, and the standard tech company amenities. We will consider only on-site work at our Sammamish, WA (Redmond) location, and you must be able to start before August ends.

Contract-to-perm Web Programmer (.net preferred)

I've got two job opportunities - you may apply to one or both. short term: Contract work. We need a kick-ass .net (flavor up to you) and SQL web programmer to create a few large, CMS-driven sites from scratch. You are welcome to bring your own libraries and user controls to the table. Work starts immediately and will be enough to keep your attention full-time for at least 4 weeks. Documentation and scope established, look and feel done & sliced - we just need you to code, code, code. Project Manager is a former developer and will help get you up to speed. Telecommuting is fine, being local would be awesome. long term: Contract-to-perm. Any language/platform (.net/SQL preferred), we want a superstar developer to lay down a foundation for a future programming department. Establish coding standards, create libraries, and help develop a core suite of CMS tools. You'd be working with a team of folks on project planning and scope, and with gfx/HTML/CSS people on final production. We are nice people in an established webdev firm, if a little overwhelmed by the amount of business we have recently attracted.
