Senior Social Software Development Engineer
November 14, 2007 11:38 AM

Big impact. Fast-paced, energetic environment. Smart and talented people. Yes, you can have it all. At Telligent Systems, you create social software and communities for some of the world’s most well-known brands, empowered by the scope and flexibility only a small and nimble company can offer.

As a Software Development Engineer on the Managed Experiences Team, you own the end-to-end development and ongoing innovations to clients’ managed communities, including the design and implementation of solutions, core back-end functionality (SQL, Business Layer and Data Access) and front-end feature (ASP.NET, AJAX, C#, Silverlight) development, and website testing and deployment – all on the Community Server platform. With your help, the team is poised to expand beyond our current managed communities, including Silverlight.net, ASP.net, IIS.net, and WindowsClient.net.

You should have at least 3 years of experience shipping public facing websites using ASP.NET, C#, and SQL, be familiar with agile development methodologies, and hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering. As you will operate in a quick and collaborative setting, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to be an effective client partner and team player are all essential. You must be eager to work on the newest Microsoft technologies, including Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008, Windows Server 2008, and Silverlight, and – most importantly – you must be ready to join a team where you lead your creations from inception to launch in a matter of days and weeks, not months and years!

Telligent offers competitive compensation, a fun and flexible work environment, and a complete benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) with company matching. We’re an equal opportunity employer and support workplace diversity.
