Large Non-profit organization is looking for a top notch senior flash designer to join our growing User Experience Design team. This is your chance to join a group of smart and passionate individuals looking to reinvent the online expression for the user community.

Reporting to the Design Director, the Senior Flash Designer must be an independent, self-motivated, creative professional, capable of adapting quickly to a fast-paced environment. This is an active hands-on role, designing the core product user experience, advancing the client's brand, and supporting marketing as well as partner initiatives. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who lives to be creative, has a passion for the web, is commited to achieving highest quality design and eager to pushing the boundaries of convergent media.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will include:
- Producing practical and grounded design solutions that address complex business, marketing and user needs
- Rapidly creating superior designs and visual mock-ups
- Designing for a wide range of online projects including publications, marketing and content partnership initiatives
- Developing dynamic prototypes, refined design screens and final graphic assets
- Working closely with the development team and reviewing UI implementation efforts
- Championing user-centered design process

EXPERIENCE
Clear demonstration of exemplary concepting skills and an eye for detail in the design and production. Must be comfortable working across a number of projects at any time.
A strong candidate for this role will:
- Have 6+ years of designing consumer focused rich media web and/or application UI
- Must demonstrate outstanding design talent and creativity
- Have an understanding of a user-centered design process
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional groups
- Strong communications and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in ActionScript, DHTML and CSS
- Demonstrated high proficiency in leading design tools such as Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- Have a solid understanding of and perspective on the online video space and social media trends and technologies
- BA/MA in graphic design or related design discipline
