cinematographer/DP for indie film project
May 22, 2007 2:06 PM

I'm working to assemble a crew for an independent film project I'm working on. Ideally, I'm looking to shoot it within the next 2 months. I'm also aiming to take no longer than a month total to shoot it, but part of that will include some cross-country travel. Since I intend to be in front of the camera (as well as directing), I need someone who's got some experience and doesn't mind working for the potential exposure (bad pun. and yes, it means you'd be working for free, probably). If all goes well, and I'm doing as much planning as possible to see that it does, the feature will get submitted to the Chicago Film Fest

I am working on acquiring the camera. It's going to be a Panasonic DVX100B/Redrock M2 35mm adapter combo (similar to this setup), so if you've worked with that or something similar, even better. I know, it's asking a lot for a non-paying gig. But I'm working on this in addition to my day job. I fully intend for this to be a serious project, and I feel like the story's good and the project has potential. If you're interested in it at all, email me and we can discuss it further.
