Curious about China?
March 27, 2007 11:21 PM

The America China Exchange Society (ACES) has a new round of hirings coming. We're looking for new and experienced TEFL teachers for our Shenzhen branch [other locations possible]. Ideally, we're looking for people to come around August but we can accommodate earlier arrivals.

The typical profile of an ACES teacher is a responsible and flexible recent college graduate wanting to experience a foreign culture before making the next step towards graduate school or business. It's also a great place to get your foot in the door for those with a longer-term interest in China.

Our location, Shenzhen, is probably the greenest city in China and has some of the cleanest air too [relative to other Chinese cities]. In 1981 it became China's first experiment in free-market capitalism and has grown from a fishing village bordering Hong Kong to a major metropolitan city drawing people from every quarter of China hoping to build a new life for themselves and their families.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
